Food Delivery System
Multi-role delivery with rider bidding
A scalable food-delivery platform with real-time tracking, a rider bidding system, and multi-role management — connecting customers, vendors, and riders, with smart distance- and revenue-based order allocation.

- Customer · Vendor · Rider · Admin
Differentiator
- Rider bidding system
Allocation
- Distance + earnings based
Hosting

Overview
Most food-delivery platforms assign orders to whichever rider is closest and call it a day. This one set out to be fairer and more efficient: riders bid on the orders they actually want, while the system still protects against far-away or chronically-skipped riders being starved of work.
The result is a three-sided marketplace — customers, vendors, and riders — coordinated in real time, with an allocation engine that balances proximity against recent earnings so work spreads across the whole fleet.
Key features
- Super-admin dashboard with role-based access control over the whole marketplace
- Customer app: registration, ordering, order history, and profile management
- Rider app: OTP login, bid-based order picking, delivery updates, and payouts
- Real-time order and rider tracking via Socket.io and Google Maps
- Multi-vendor support with per-vendor product catalogues
- Integrated payments with automatic split payouts to vendors and riders
Architecture

- Developed real-time order and rider tracking with Socket.io and Google Maps
- Integrated payments with automatic split payouts to vendors and riders, plus OTP auth
